Good wine starts in the vineyard, this is a fact. If, however, the winery is not up to standard or is not equipped with state-of-the-art winemaking equipment, all the time and effort put into the vineyards could be wasted.
This is why, in recent years, at RoncSoreli we have heavily invested in renovating the winery and cellars, as well as the winemaking equipment.
The grape reception area has been completely redesigned on the gravity-flow concept, in order to avoid mechanical stress; basically, the grapes are tipped into two state-of-the-art crushers.
The large wine making area now features the most advanced machinery. Temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and 18 concrete tanks – salvaged from the former winery, and restored to the most modern standards – are used for the musts and wines. In particular, they are ideal pieces of equipment for white wine making, namely, for Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon.
Some of our red wines, Schioppettino di Prepotto, Schioppettino, Pinot Nero and Merlot, mature in barriques, tonneaux and large truncated cone shaped vats.
All RoncSoreli wines are allowed to age and evolve in the bottle before being released. And in order to guarantee "all the time and space" our wines need, we have built a new wine cellar. A beautiful wine cellar designed with details in mind, and which provides ample space.
Our new visitors' reception hall, which includes three tasting rooms, an area for corporate meetings and tasting events, and a wine shop will soon be up and running to offer you an outstanding wine experience.
